So we’re heading for Dallas here in just a bit. We seem to have brought rain with us to Texas which makes us some sort of voodoo magic men down here I guess. No trouble, you’re welcome. Had a wonderful time at the New Braunfels show. Great radio station, great venue, great people. They took good care of us and I sincerely hope we’ll be back to do that all again sometime sooner than later. Pleasant surprise. Austin last night was not that way. Crowd was good but the club/staff pretty much all seemed like they didn’t want us there from right around the moment we showed up. It put a really weird vibe on the night. Then we finished the set, which we certainly put everything into, yet still sounded not great and went outside for a second to discuss what songs to do in the encore and then they immediately crank the house music and start shooing folks out. My apologies to everyone who came to the show. Then they were running us out with all our gear, just very disappointing. But anyway, thanks to everyone who came and our apologies and a promise to all work/play together under better circumstances next time. On a positive note about Stubb’s, the food was still great! If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything right? Ok, here’s hoping things will shape up a little better in the Big D tonight. The Orbans are with us again tonight and put on a good show. We caught your concert at Canyon Lake last Thursday while on vacation there – first time listeners. Got my whole family hooked. Love the vibe, love the sound, love the CD! I’ve been listening to it since we left. Hoping you make it to Fort Worth sometime. Of course, we’ll make the trip to Dallas if we have to – you put on a great show!

Hey Will, didn’t get to make the Stubb’s show . Austin is going through a weird transition right now. I call it ( an ending of an era) Proudly professes to be the ” Live Music Capitol of The World” with a little glitch, a noise ordinance. Oil and Water. All of the clubs here are under pressure from the City. All of that aside, no reason why the staff couldn’t have treated you better so you can summon the mojo. You are a true blue music man. Take care, and glad to see you are back on the road.

GREAT SHOW at Prophet Bar last night. Everything sounded great and you guys played an awesome set. Really digging a lot of the new stuff and cant wait for the album to come out. Its also nice to see some live music coming back to the Deep Ellum part of this town. Hope you find your way back to Dallas very soon

That is so sad to hear about the treatment at Stubb’s. I could feel that and knew something was off when you didn’t come back out for an encore. (the energy sucked). I am happy that I went to see you in Dallas and the crowd was awesome. I wish I could have said the same thing for my town of Austin. Well, know you have a huge fan here, so I hope you give us a chance again. Your music has helped me through some trying times and gave me hope after my sister’s death. Your band is amazing and I was happy to meet you too. Thanks for putting up with me!
