Burlington Vermont…..

So let’s start with the good stuff. This place is kick ass. Great great club. Kind of like WorkPlay in Birmingham. Small room holds 400, bigger room probably closer to 900. Great food, great staff. Loved it. Now mind you we’ve NEVER been anywhere near there I don’t think.
Now here comes the bad part. You know we like to be honest with y’all so here it goes. We were supposed to get 60% of the door after we paid the Alternate Routes $150. So I’ll let you do the math but know that at the end of the night after paying them, we owed the club $16. Yep. Shitty situation. Luckily they really liked the band, or at least said they did. They may be making fun of our country asses today, but oh well. The offered us a case of beer and a mutual apology along with a promise to do it again under better circumstances. OUCH!! That one hurt. To add insult to injury, the band playing next door had like 1200 people there. That one hurts too.
Speaking of the Alternate Routes, they’re great!! They continue to grow on me each night. I liked them as dudes right from the start, but musically it gets better and better each time I hear them. They’ll be with us for a few more shows so make sure you’re there to check them out beforehand.
Ok, now we’re heading to the Boston sperm bank to try and make up for all the money we didn’t get last night. Wish us luck……
