So in all my years of doing this last night was only the 2nd time we’ve had to cancel a show for health reasons. I’m really sorry to everyone who came out. I’ve been sick since before Chicago last week. I’ll spare you the details and just say that I spent all day yesterday in Richmond in a clinic getting poked, proded, blooded, leached, etc. I got 2 bags of fluid and felt a bit better but realized it was probably a bad idea to try and do the show. Special thanks to Russell for taking such good care of me. Thanks to the band for the same thing and letting all y’all know what was going on. Thanks to the promoter and everyone at Alley Katz for understanding, we WILL make it up to you. Biggest thanks of all to those of you that came out. Dean came to the back lounge after the show and was sincerely amazed at how cool everyone was about the cancellation. I’m hoping we’ve built(and will continue to build) a trust with you guys so that you’ll always know in situations like this we’re NEVER trying to screw you guys over. Thanks for understanding and for all the well wishes. I’m feeling well enough to give things a shot tonight in Asbury Park. Here’s hoping all is well……..We’ll see you again soon Richmond.
